•  "When are the ghost tours?​"

  • Haunted Parkersburg's season typically starts in late September and goes through the end of October. Tours begin at 7:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Check our homepage for this year's exact tour dates!

• "Where do the tours meet?​"

  • We now gather outside the main entrance of the beautiful Blennerhassett Hotel​ in downtown Parkersburg (located at 320 Market Street, Parkersburg WV 26101.)

• "Do I have to make a reservation?"

  • No reservation required! But if you would like to purchase your ticket with a credit card ahead of time, we now offer online booking (click here.) Or, you can  show up at the tour with enough cash for your tickets! We also accept Venmo.

• "How long is the walk?"

  • The tour spans two miles from beginning to end and takes roughly two hours. The walk is leisurely, but there are some small inclines and declines along the route.

• "Do you have any accessibility options for those who cannot walk the tour?"

  • Yes! Please visit the "Accessibility" page  to send us a message. Once you have paid for your ticket(s) we will send you a driving route and instructions for how to follow along with us on your chosen tour night.

• "How much does it cost?"

  • Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children 13 under. We apologize, but children younger than 5 and babies are not permitted.

• "What should I bring?"

  • You don't have to bring anything! Flashlights are strongly encouraged. It’s often a chilly walk so​ dress warmly and wear comfortable shoes. Absolutely NO ALCOHOL is permitted on the ghost tour.

• "Do you offer private tours?"

  • Yes! If you'd like to book a private tour, please visit our "Private Tours" page to send us a message. We will get back to you with our tour guides' availability.

• "Will I see a ghost?"

  • At Haunted Parkersburg, we pride ourselves in offering an authentic ghost tour experience. No jump scares, no theatrics. It is unlikely that you'll see a ghost with your naked eye because that is quite rare (though your camera may very well capture one!) However, our spirits manifest in various ways - smells, sounds, etc.... and they often make their presence known on the tours. 

 

We'll show you the major hot spots of hauntings around the city as well as filling you in on some of Parkersburg's spookiest and most unique history. Simply follow the guides, stay on the sidewalks and let us lead the way!
